A Man for Honor (The Amish Matchmaker #6)A Man for Honor by Emma Miller
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this. I have only read Amish books from a few different Authors and I like to see how their traditions are different. Each community has different rules. This was the most modern Amish community that I have been introduced to but I liked it. Honor needed help, she just couldn't admit it to herself. Her kids were running the household in their own little way. Being a widow with 4 small children had to be rough! I could not imagine, especially being so far from other families.

Out of the Darkness (The Finnegan Connection #3)Out of the Darkness by Heather Graham
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I loved the idea behind this book. The suspense, the romance, the mystery was all great! But I felt like too much was repeated, over and over and over again. Davey having down syndrome doesn't need to be in every chapter. We remember, we really do. His dad teaching him, we also remember that. I have NOT read any of the other books in this series, and I don't feel like I missed out on anything. This can be read as a standalone. The twist at the end was an unexpected surprise! I will give more of her books a try, this is not the end for me.
