2021 did not end as planned. With loads of personal/family issues hitting both Crystal and I we were forced to step back from blogging. But oh how we have missed you guys! I can't speak for Crystal, but I didn't touch a book since October. My soul is starved!
My MIL moved in with my husband and me in October. In November she fell and broke her ankle in 3 places. Surgery was a nightmare as she has a bad reaction to anesthesia that lasted
My MIL moved in with my husband and me in October. In November she fell and broke her ankle in 3 places. Surgery was a nightmare as she has a bad reaction to anesthesia that lasted
9 days! Rehab was awful as well with sub par care. I won't hash out the details, but trust me when I say that my nerves have been shot. I don't sleep. I can't focus. And reading a book is not happening. We are bringing my MIL home this week and that brings about a whole new lists of challenges. Pray for us.
Crystal and I are determined to get back on track. I've kicked off 2022 with an audiobook from Rue Volley as I desperately try to find my grove. The blog and social media pages will be back up and running on Monday, January 10th. Look for new book reviews from Crystal on Wednesdays and mine on Thursdays. The Fangirl Thursday interviews should be back up in February.
