Title: The Nephilim ~ The Guardians Bk 3
Author: Elise Marion
Publisher: Marion Press
Published Date: February 20, 2017
Her mission is clear: recruit her Nephilim siblings to help her fight on the side of good against evil. But with demons out for her blood and tensions running high between the half-demon Nephilim and the Guardians, Addison will find herself straddling two different sides of the spirit world—dark and light.
With war on the horizon and the fate of the world resting on her shoulders, Addison shouldn’t have time to think about her love life. But, with best friends Jack and Micah both after her heart, she will face an impossible choice—choose one, and risk hurting the other while destroying a brotherhood. Even when she makes her decision, Addison will be met with a startling truth; whomever she chooses will be in constant danger because of her involvement in Hell’s war. Can she save the world and still follow her heart, making a life with the man she loves?
Lynn's 5 Star Review

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Let me warn you now, this is the most cryptic review I have ever written. If you didn't read Book 2 then none of this will make sense to you. If it totally makes sense then friend me on Facebook cause you are My People. lol
Addison took me to Hell and I survived. She made her choice between Micah and Jack & I survived. Then Addison blindsided me and left me a hot mess. Where did we go wrong? I can't say what she did cause; well, spoilers. But OMG, that changes everything! And just when I thought someone else might have a chance the epilogue crushed my dreams yet again. At least there is an alternative chapter I can live vicariously through.
Oh let me warn you. Are you sitting down? Jack is a Patriots fan. Gasp! In all fairness to the author, had she gone with the Saints I still would be upset. And there is no way Jack would be a Jets fan so I forgive her.
Now about the Story...
Like the previous two books in this series, it's a fast-paced, action packed, page turner filled with love, hate, heartache, and hope (a weird combo, I know). Addison's emotions ooze from the pages. But she is no damsel in distress. No ma'am. She has definitely come into her powers and her roll. The girl is a Bad Ass Warrior.
In true Elise Marion fashion, she leaves us chomping at the bit with yet another cliffhanger. Although I have to say it is not as bad as the Book 2 hanger.
A 5 Star read and a must read for fans of the series.
