Dark, dirty, and pretty darn fantastic! Romance is not my typical genre to read, if that’s what this falls under, because that is not what I would label it, but I was definitely sucked in and hooked right from the beginning. Abigail is a keep to herself, get it done college student who meets Jack Landon, a way too hot for his own good bazillionaire. The attraction is instantaneous, but he is just kind of a weird standoffish dude. As we ride through their sexy and almost disturbing romance we learn why. Not gonna lie, I was totally with Abi’s roommate Avery in thinking he was a vampire. I did not go into this book with the realization that this was the first in a series, but alas it is and leaves you at one hell of a cliffhanger, cursing at the ending! But you can believe I will be gobbling up Devil’s Fire this summer when it comes out.
