I really liked this story! The emotions! There were such strong feelings, love, anger, confusion, and hate! Max though, ugh! The Beaumont family was great! The friendships in this story were strong. Nothing was getting in the way of that. This story took place in the span of over a year, and it was believable, this and this and this happened, then 2 or 3 moths have passed. It was smooth transitions. There isn't something super important going on every single day of our lives, so the time passing worked well for this book.
