This book was hard. Mostly for personal reasons. The whole separation is hard for me to wrap my mind around.

She's his everything but.....
He is her everything but.....
So many things were just not okay.

Anne's writing and this whole Falling Down/Blush family is amazing, but this story the whole spin of events in Xan's life is hard. I still love them but it's hard. Makes it more real somehow I guess. It's not all sunshine and roses. The first half of the book was still in the past, we learned more about Tera, and her feelings.

The present, we finally got there! I like how Anne added in bits of her short story from Alphas & Fairytales. The New Years Eve Fight and Gala through Tera's eyes. This was well worth the read, if you love the series as much as I do you need to read it, even being a hard one. It's their story, who are we to say it's wrong :-)
