Review ~ Trinity Row by Kelly Martin

Fans of the classic Alfred Hitchcock movies are going to love Trinity Row. This story is unnerving and will leave readers questioning their sanity! The house will not die and the person pulling its strings might not be who you think. I found myself scrolling back and re-reading sections to see if I missed any clues. Trinity Row is a twisted, haunting tale that you simply must read more than once.

Local legend says Trinity Row is the house that won't die. Local legend isn't wrong.
Sixteen-year-old Ivy Black and her mom have moved in for a quick renovation to make an easy buck. Then it will be on to the next rundown, abandoned eyesore.Simple.
Move.
Fix.
Sell.
Run.
For the last three years, Ivy and her mom have run far away from their past. That's the thing about Trinity Row, though. It doesn't let the past die.
When Ivy finds out that the friends she thought she made and the things she thought she's seen aren't exactly what she believed, she goes on a mission to free her mother from the snare of Trinity Row and the evil spirit controlling it.
Except, after a trip to Trinity Row, you'll never want to go home again.

For fans of The Haunting of Hill House and Kendare Blake's Anna Dressed in Blood.

Kelly Martin writes southern gothic, paranormal, contemporary, historical, and YA fiction. She has been married for over ten years and has three rowdy, angelic daughters. When she's not writing, she loves taking pictures of abandoned houses, watching horror gamers on YouTube—even though she's a huge wimp—and drinking decaf white chocolate mochas. She's a total fangirl, loves the 80s and 90s, and has a sad addiction to paranormal TV shows. (Basically, she likes creepy stuff.) Her favorite characters are the very flawed 'good guys'—and 'bad guys' who don't know they are evil. She loves giving her readers books with unexpected twists and turns.

In case you missed it, I won a limited edition copy of Trinity Row with black pages.  I read the ebook before winning or receiving the book and it did not influence my review.
