Holy guacamole! This was intense right from the beginning. I was drawn in and had a hard time putting it down. The relationships and bonds we seen right from the start were solid. I loved seeing Sable and Tauren again along with Mira and Brecan. This was River and Omen's story though, 100%. The twists and turns as the pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place blindsided me, I never seen them coming. I love everything about this book, if can be read as a stand a lone, but why would you want to do that? Read When Wishes Bleed first!
