This series was something else. I don't really do the whole Vampire thing, and I never do the apocalyptic/zombie thing. Casey had a way of really pulling me in right from the start. I loved it, I loved it all! It seems like I finished this series in about a week (almost 1000 pages). This is suitable for 13 and up, depending on the kid. There are cuss words and hints towards adult relations (not often) but nothing in detail. The plot twists are pretty extreme, you will never get bored. I can't wait to look up more of her work.

I will start off by saying that this is NOT my normal read. I don't do zombie or post apocalyptic settings. That being said I REALLY enjoyed this book. I couldn't put it down! I have had this on my kindle for a while now, so happy I finally picked it up. On to the next one!

Aaaah the twists and turns

So many twists and turns! Casey sure knows how to keep her readers on their toes. This one ended in another cliffy. I am so happy these are on KU and I can read one right after the other.

Wow

I feel like I keep writing the same review, but wow! What more can you throw at us Casey?? The plot twists! This one was kind of more out there, zombies and vampires weren't enough, there is more! I can't wait to see how this series ends with the next book.
