In Ghost from the Grave, we see a whole new side to Chantilly. She goes into full momma bear mode when one of her son's lacrosse teammates goes missing. With the help of her friends and the ghost of a groundskeeper, Chantilly tries to solve the mystery before it strikes at her own front door.
Y'all there is a scene where Thelma pumps a shotgun one handed and that alone is reason enough to read this book! Thelma is a total badass! Who knew?
The Chantilly Adair series is Steel Magnolias, The Golden Girls, and Ghost Whisperer rolled into one sweet laugh out loud paranormal mystery series. Aspenson creates a quaint town filled with eccentric characters and I want to move in immediately.
