2017 has been a fantabulous year for 2 Girls & A Book. First and foremost, a huge thank you to Crystal for blogging and reviewing; especially the romances ;) Crystal opens doors to a plethora of romance authors for you guys and for that I am grateful. I am blessed and humbled that we won the BEST BLOG award at OUAB2017. Knowing that the attending authors voted for us makes it all the more special. This page would be nothing without the authors and fans. So lastly, thank you to you. You guys support the page, read the blog, and buy the books that we feature. My main goal when starting this venture was to share my love of reading and spread the word on my favorite authors. Thank you for letting my passion and dream come true.

Breakout Author ~ Victoria Flynn
I met Victoria at OUAB 2017 so I stalked her on
Facebook - ya know, cause that's how I roll. From
that meeting and the relentless stalking I snagged
her book A Soul's Sacrifice. Let me interject here....
authors if I had not met Victoria at OUAB and chatted
with her I probably would not have read her book
this year. She was super nice and friendly so she s
tayed on my radar. It really is the simplest things
that help. Any hoo....loved the book so much that I
ordered the series from her for Christmas.
Definitely put her on your TBR list.

Hottest Book I read all Year
I'm not a huge fan of contemporary romance novels
but I love paranormal romance. Hell on Heels by
Alicia Dawn and Hope Daniels was hands down the
HOTTEST thing I read all year. Ladies, the sexual
tension drips from the pages!
Romantic Comedy
Y'all know I love me some Stacey Rourke.
Turn Tables is HILARIOUS! I love Tandy!
This book is laugh out loud, pee your pants funny.
Read it. Trust me!
Cozy Mystery Series
If you are not reading Carolyn Ridder Aspenson's The Angela Panther Series, you are missing out. Best characters ever!!!! A detective, psychic, her ghost mom, and her best friend. I've read all the books in the series. Check them out.
New to Me Series
I have followed Casey Bond for years but never read her work. This year I checked out her Frenzy Series. OMG!!!! Why have I been living with my head in the sand? It's a vampire, dystopian series, but you already know that cause apparently I am the only one who was unaware of the greatness that is Casey Bond. Crystal read them too. That's how great they are. The romance blogger read a vamp series. Nuff said.
Favorite YA Series
  | Rue Volley's 13 Ways to Midnight is everything that a YA Romance should be. This series wrecked me. Rue Volley pulled out my heart, dangled a small bit of hope in front of me, and then stopped on my heart with the heel of her boot. And I loved every minute of it. |
