I had a hard time reading this book. I don't know if it was because I did not read any of the other books in the series or not. I did not relate at all and it just dragged. The ending sped up so I am happy I stuck through and got to finish it but it was not for me.

Holiday Amnesia by Lynette EasonMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this book! I started it last night when I went to bed, next thing I knew it was 4 hours later (1AM) and hubby was asking me why I was still up LOL Oppsy!
The characters grabbed me right from the start. The suspense and mystery was wonderful! This wasn't really a "Christmas" read so if you are waiting for the holidays to read it, don't! This can be read all year long and enjoyed just the same!

Gabe was something else, I don't even know. It took time to get into this, very slow moving at first. The last half I read all in one day. I just had a hard time with Gabe, I did not like him at all. The author did very well making us dislike the hero. It takes good writing to dislike a character so strongly. When we finally got more back story it started to make sense.
I recommend giving it a try.
