Jen doesn’t know who people keep mistaking her for, but one thing is clear: her mystery double is not popular. When Jen is kidnapped by a group bent on revenge for something she never did, it’s up to her friends to rescue her. Little do they know, Jen’s captors are ready for them.
Thomas, TS, Charlie, Dani, and Mariana become the latest victims of a malicious experiment, one which could spell doom for magic-kind. Now their lives, and maybe their entire world, are in Jen’s hands. Unfortunately, escaping the facility is the least of their problems. The experiment is dangerous; one in three test subjects dies. And considering five of them are affected, the odds don’t look good.
Time is running out and Jen and her friends are faced with the hardest decisions they’ve ever had to make; how do you know who to trust, when your own mother isn’t who you thought she was? Just how much will you sacrifice for a friend, even if it’s your life?
And how can you make a choice when the wrong one means death?

Elizabeth Kirke saved the best for last. Soul Choice is an intense, white knuckle read. It's the kind of book you have to read more than once because the first time is such an emotional roller coaster you can't possibly take it all in properly. Soul Choice will put you through the wringer. Mrs. Kirke rips your heart out. Let's you look at it and then slams it back in to revive you. You will want to read it in one sitting. Yeah, it's that good. Action packed. Revealing. Heart warming. Yeah, heart warming. Dark. Edge of your seat thrill ride. A fitting conclusion to the series.
Cheree's 5 Star Review
Can you say 'Ending it with a bang!' Breathtaking, heart pounding & emotional ending, but leaves you with a smile! Book 3 starts out very nice. Catching up with Jen and what she has been up too. Some interesting things start to happen, and then she gets a short, but very nice visit with all her friends in NY. When Jen gets home, things go very wrong! I literally don't know where to go from here. The amazingness and shocking things that happen can not possibly be explained without spoilers, and I just can't do that. EK takes us on a ride like we never could have possibly expected or seen coming! But pay attention, because these story lines run deep! We get all the answers here! It is a beautifully crafted work of art to close up our adventure with this amazing group of friends, but leaving us always wishing we can get more, an update, a short little glimpse of what is going on. I mean, they are magics after all.....and young. We have lot's of time!

Interview with Elizabeth Kirke
There is some truth, I’m afraid. At the moment, I don’t have any plans for a future direct sequel. Meaning, I’m probably not going to pick up where Soul Choice left off (like how Soul Choice took place three months after Snow Bound, which was a few months after the first book). That said, there will probably be at least one more short story collection, like Danio’s Prelude. I also wouldn’t be surprised if I get some inspiration for spin-offs or other books that take place in the same world, potentially with some familiar faces.
But, never say never. Who knows, six months from now I might suddenly get the urge to get back into Jen’s head and continue the adventure.
How was writing Soul Choice different from writing Semester Aboard and Snow Bound?
The planning was tough. Semester Aboard practically wrote itself and Snow Bound was just a logical follow up. With Soul Choice I had to do a lot more planning. I actually ended up combining my plans for Book 3 and 4 into Soul Choice. I also got WAY too close to my deadline with this one. There was some serious concern I wouldn’t make it.
If you could be a witch, vampire, werewolf or elemental; which would you be and why?
Oh, I’d be a witch for sure! I’d love to have a familiar. And with a magic wand there would be so many different things I could do!
What other projects are you working on?
What am I not working on!? Next up is the sequel to Carved in Cherry. That’s probably due out in October. I don’t want to commit to a date yet, since I originally planned for that AND Soul Choice to be out in 2014. See how well that worked out.
I also have 2 adult series (very adult) that I’m working on under a penname. With any luck those will be coming out here and there.
And I have a fantasy series that has been in the pipes for a long time. I’m trying to decide if It’ll be YA or NA.
Will there be any other releases in 2015?
Wrought-Iron Roses for sure. Hopefully a couple of my adult books as well. I also plan to get the paperback of Danio’s Prelude out as well!
