“Fairy Tales that take a dark modern twist.” ~ Sassy Cats Book Review
Sarah J. Pepper specializes in dark, paranormal romance - think "happy ever after" but with a twisted, dark chocolate center. Real-life romance isn't only filled with hugs, kisses, bunnies, and rainbows. True-love can be more thoroughly described in times of darkness and tribulation. It's in those harsh moments where you see what a person is truly capable of - both the good and bad. Sometimes prince-charming isn't always on time, and the glass slipper is a little snug. However, it doesn't mean Charming is not Mr. Right, and who says every shoe is the perfect fit? Get a glimpse inside her head at www.sarahjpepper.com
Award Winning Author, Tish Thawer, writes paranormal romances for all ages. Her magickal elements and detailed world-building are a welcome constant in every novel.
Before becoming a writer she worked as a computer consultant, a photographer and a graphic designer. She also operates a custom glass etching business, in addition to being a wife and the mother of three wonderful children.
She's been a fan of the paranormal for as long as she can remember. Anything to do with superpowers, myth and magic has always held a special place in her heart. From her first paranormal cartoon, Isis, to the phenomenon that is Twilight, this genre has always been a part of her life.

Amy Daws is a contemporary romance author who loved dipping her toe into the world of fantasy for this modern day Cinderella story. If you loved her contemporary style, check out her award-nominated adult romantic comedy series, The London Lovers Series. It's emotional, and self-deprecating, with lots of humor sprinkled in. New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author, L.P. Dover, is a southern belle residing in North Carolina along with her husband and two beautiful girls. Before she even began her literary journey she worked in Periodontics enjoying the wonderment of dental surgeries.
Not only does she love to write, but she loves to play tennis, go on mountain hikes, white water rafting, and you can't forget the passion for singing. Her two number one fans expect a concert each and every night before bedtime and those songs usually consist of Christmas carols.
Aside from being a wife and mother, L.P. Dover has written over fifteen novels including her Forever Fae series, the Second Chances series, the Gloves Off series, and her standalone novel, Love, Lies, and Deception. Her favorite genre to read is romantic suspense and she also loves writing it. However, if she had to choose a setting to live in it would have to be with her faeries in the Land of the Fae.L.P. Dover is represented by Marisa Corvisiero of Corvisiero Literary Agency.
Author Elizabeth Montgomery was born in Williamsburg, Virginia and raised a hop, skip, and a jump away in Yorktown, Virginia. Paranormal inspiration was easily obtained during her childhood in these colorful towns. This helped to spur her love of Paranormal romance stories, but she also enjoys reading YA and NA.
She is currently raising four children and a husband while elbow-deep in the depths of the writing cave. You can often find her searching on Google for an appropriate, or sometimes inappropriate, photo to insert in any random conversation. If not on Google, or Facebook chat, she can be found drinking coffee (like any normal writer), eating Gummy Bears, baking fanciful cakes, reading (of course), or writing (duh).“I always wondered what authors meant when they said that their characters tell them what to write – I get it now!”
International Bestselling, award winning, Author Mary Ting/M. Clarke resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry. Writing her first novel, Crossroads Saga, happened by chance. It was a way to grieve the death of her beloved grandmother, and inspired by a dream she once had as a young girl. When she started reading new adult novels, she fell in love with the genre. It was the reason she had to write one-Something Great. Why the pen name, M Clarke? She tours with Magic Johnson Foundation to promote literacy and her children's chapter book-No Bullies Allowed.

Shannon Morton: I'm a reader of fantasy turned writer who enjoys great characters and fascinating plot twists. I like bad boys, fast cars, and chicks who aren't afraid to talk back. She's a fan of Supernatural and Gone with the Wind, Jennifer Armentrout, Amy A. Bartol and Tara Brown and makes a mean omelette.
She is the mother of six crazy, creative and hilarious children and married to her childhood best friend and hero Ben. When she isn't busy with her dogs Trouble and Denali, you're likely to find her in a corner with her nose buried in the latest Deadpool and Red Sonja comic books and counting down the moments until she can find inspiration capturing the perfect Aurora through the lens of her camera.
Jessica Sorensen is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author from the snowy mountains of Wyoming. When she's not writing, she spends her time reading and hanging out with her family. You can find more information about Jessica and her books at www.jessicasorensen.com
Wendy Owens is a writer, born in the small college town, Oxford Ohio. After attending Miami University, Wendy went onto a career in the visual arts. After several years of creating and selling her own artwork she gave her first love, writing, a try. It’s become a passion ever since. Wendy now happily spends her days writing the stories her characters guide her to tell, admitting even she doesn’t always know where that might lead. Her first series, The Guardians, is a YA fantasy series about angel and human hybrids.Since then she has branched into NA Contemporary Romance and released titles to include Stubborn Love, Only In Dreams, and Do Anything. Her next romance, The Luckiest is scheduled to be released in July 2014.
When she’s not writing, this dog lover can be found spending time with her tech geek husband, their three amazing kids, and two pups. She loves to cook and is a film fanatic.
Kellie has been in love with stories in all of their forms for as long as she can remember. Admittedly, sometimes that means falling into places like Stars Hollow and Sunnydale, but books have always been her true love.
Kellie spent part of her twenties living in Galway, Ireland and swooning after various lilting accents but is now back home in Ontario, Canada. Her family includes two Glen of Imaal Terriers and an Australian Labradoodle.
Kristen Strassel writes books about rock stars and vampires. After all, they tell you to write what you know. She is a passionate music fan who also loves football games and diner food. Kristen works as a makeup artist on film and TV shows when she's not writing, and loves being behind the scenes. A former resident of Las Vegas, Kristen now lives in the Boston area.

Brynn Myers is an urban fantasy/paranormal romance author. After considering writing a hobby for years, she finally turned her passion and talent into a career. She came into the paranormal genre later than most but has always loved fairy-tales and all things magical. Using that love, she creates charmed worlds by writing stories involving passionate, strong willed characters with something to discover. Brynn lives with her family in the Brevard County, Florida area.
Cameo Renae: My family is what keeps my heart beating, and my world a happy place to be.
I was born in San Francisco, raised in Maui, Hawaii, and recently moved with my husband and children to Alaska.
I'm a daydreamer, a caffeine and peppermint addict. I love to laugh, love to read, and love to escape reality. One of my greatest joys is creating fantasy worlds filled with adventure and romance, and sharing it with others.
One day I hope to find my own magic wardrobe, and ride away on a magical unicorn. Until then...I'll keep writing!

Cheree's 5 Star Review
This book was amazing!! Not only because I found some new authors to love, but the twist on these fairytales is genius!! I of course had my favorites, but there were all just so good! I’m impressed with the imagination and talent on how the stories were twisted, making me think “that was so much better than the original!” OK I am going to give a teeny tiny, abbreviated thought on each story ;) but I really enjoyed the writing style of all the authors, even if I didn’t like the story.
**Unlocked by Wendy Owens ~ twist on Little Red Riding Hood- Very interesting! What a fun twist on this story. Exciting and full of action and suspense, and a twist I never saw coming!
**Blayze & Ash by Jessica Sorenson ~ twist on Beauty and the Beast- FREAKING LOVED this story! Beauty & the Beast is my fav Disney story, so I was nervous for this one, but it was great! I really loved how it came together, so different yet the same. The ending made me tear up a tiny bit and left me warm and smiling.
**The Little Mermaid by K.R. Wilburn- GREAT twist. Really enjoyed how the tables were turned in this version, and the ending was perfect. Twisty greatness ;)
**Dance with Me by Tish Thawer ~ 12 Prncesses- This was a good story, honestly, the only version of this story I know is the Barbie version my 3 year old loves, and boy was this one different! This brings out a lot of different emotions and I really liked the way it ended.
**Awakened by Kristen Strassel ~ Sleeping Beauty- Dark and twisted! Not at all what you would expect from a Sleeping Beauty story, I enjoyed it very much
**Priceless by Sarah J. Pepper ~ Rumplestiltskin- I freaking LOVED this story!! The minute I finished it I went straight to my computer to stalk this author and get some more of her work, which left me very pleased after seeing her books! I am surprised how much I loved it, because this type of story isn’t really my genre, but yep, epic! And I can’t wait to read more by her!!!
**The Snow Queen by Shannon Morton- This one was very hard for me to read L the writing and imagination of the author is great and she is without a doubt talented, but the story itself left me with a tummy ache. I literally hate the main character! LOL Just a vile and dark creature. I kept waiting for the turning point where she realized she was an evil demon spawn of satan…but it never came. She was just an evil human being and I had a hard time reading about the joy she got from destroying beautiful souls L I really want to go read something else by this author so I can write a review for a story that leaves me happy, because I did enjoy her style very much!
**Caged by LP Dover ~ Rapunzel- Great love story! Full of hope, heartache, betrayal, and a fight for your heart that is inspiring!
**Puss in Boots by Brynn Myers- Another great love story with a twist that just makes you smile….and cringe a little in places, but all in all just a fantastic story that has you really cheering on the characters.
**Rell by Amy Daws ~ Cinderella- I really loved this twist! Made me cry in all the wrong places, yes I said that, because I’m a weirdo and cried at all happy parts, and I didn’t want it to end! Great great story!
**Casting Crowns and Other Curious Things by Elizabeth Montgomery ~ Alice in Wonderland – This was a fun and dark twist that I very much enjoyed. Will be looking for more from this author.
**Hansel & Gretel by Cameo Renae- OK, I’m not gonna lie, I went into this book purely to read this story! I am a sucker for a Cameo Renae story! This epic tale was set in the ARV-3 world and just…so….freaking….AMAZING!!! Hands down my fav in the book, and once again having me long for book 4 or anything from this scary and fantastic post apoc world!
**Real Boy by Kellie Sheridan ~ Pinochio- I really liked this twist, totally creepy for me because I already have a fear of robots taking over the world LOL but I just felt like it just ended way to fast. It got all intense and exciting!! I sat up in and got anxious and then BAM! It just spun and was over L I wanted just a little more drawn out ending. But I guess me wanting more is a good thing. It must be hard when it’s a short story.
**Jaclyn and the Beanstalk by M. Clarke – This was another fantastic twist with a great ending, one that left you satisfied, but also with the giddiness that there could be more of a story to come, fingers crossed!
So all in all I adore this book full of twisted fairy tales by such amazing and talented authors! Even the one story that hurt my heart to read was amazing and well written. A book that is a must read and can’t wait to get it on my shelf!
