Other than a short story in the Hot Summer Nights Anthology, Angels Among Us is my first novel read from Elise Marion. I love paranormal and her paranormal romances will knock your socks off. Elise is an amazing author. Her writing paints a canvas for the reader and completely engulfs you into her story.
Angels Among Us shows us that love can be many things. It can create and shatter families. It can build us up only to strip us down. No one can escape the pitfalls. It shows the many faces of love.
Angels Among Us is a collection of three stories; Fallen, Tempted and Redemption. My favorite in the series is Redemption because it shows that in the end love can concur all. And who isn’t a sucker for a happy ending. Be sure and read the fantastic forward by R. K. Ryals too!

Tempted delves into the mind of a war torn Sergeant suffering from PTSD who has lost his family and is struggling to maintain his day to day existence. Tempted shows us that with love, patience and understanding we can overcome anything.
Book Three: Redemption
Seven years after losing his wings, Angel Nathaniel is suffering the consequences of his actions as a Fallen angel. While he knows he must suffer for his choices, he fights the transformation into a demon every day, holding out hope that there is a way he can be saved. The love of his life, Carmen Rodriguez, lives her life in constant fear. Their half angel, half human son lives in danger because of his supernatural powers. Hell wants him for their side in the battle, but when Nathaniel catches wind of their daring kidnapping attempt, he is left with no choice but to unleash the demon inside of him to get his son back. With the woman he loves at his side, can Nathaniel find his redemption?
Review
Redemption is my favorite in the series. You could feel the raw power and emotion that Carmen and Nathaniel exuded leap from the pages. Of all three stories, this one takes you to hell and back both emotionally and figuratively. It is a fitting ending to the series.
