This was a pretty easy read, as far as suspense there was some but not tons. I loved Celeste's journey into coming into her own and what that all meant for her.

Savage! I feel like I have said this about Monte, but I feel like I waited forever for Savage. These boys are something else! Liam is next I hope ;)
Rey is something special. She has spent so long being uneducated about her species, by no fault of hers. She has been hiding for so long it's hard to change that. All she wants to do is be free and independent. The struggle is real.

I love Sedona! We got the beginning of her story in Nowhere to Hide. This one dug deeper into her and less to do with Micah and Holly. Family drama at it's finest, then the suspense at the end. AAAHHH

River and Jonas, what can we say? There was so much back story in here. We got to see how River found her way to Havenwood Falls, we also get to know the Sisters McNee a little better. I really enjoyed this. The ending was shocking, I did not see that one coming!

I really enjoyed Clarke's story! The suspense held off until the end but the build up was great!

This wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. With all the mentions of The Collector: Awakening: I really wish I would have read it first. It wasn't a deal breaker but it left me with more questions. I will be going back to read it, for sure.
This book was lacking something, I am not sure what but my interest wasn't there until the end. The ending was perfect and I can't wait to find out more!

Learning more about the Kanes was so much fun! Karson had so many deep rooted issues to overcome. Running is never the answer. Scottlin was hard not to love also. She was so real! Love them. I hope to read more from this author!

O.M.G!
More of Cam and Mavis. Not to mention Penelope and Rayonus. I don't even know what to say. I had kind of forgotten about the ending of Plans Laid Bare so this was a pleasant surprise. Not only was this funny, it was hot, steamy, and so freaking suspenseful! The ending, holy crap!

I fell in love with Tahini in The Winged & the Wicked:, and boy oh boy did she kick butt in this one! She is something fierce when it comes to friends and family. We meet new people and learn more about the old. Especially Gruff. I was not expecting that! I highly recommend this book, heck the whole series!

Love, love, love! I don't even know where to start.
This is the first novella in the Legends series that I have read, that being said it didn't really feel like it was based in the 1920's or whatever it was, it could have worked for any time frame. That did not take away from the story though. I also really enjoyed that this was truly a stand alone, as far as I know there wasn't characters from other Legends stories in it that made us feel like we were missing something. If they were mentioned it was briefly and lets us want for their own story.
Kaori is special, sometimes we don't know what we are capable of, especially when we don't push ourselves. Theo and Heather were an added bonus! I hope we get Heather's story! Oh and maybe Emiko's :D
