I devoured this!
I loved going back and getting to know Harper. I have read another novella in this series that happened AFTER this and was a little confused. I can't wait to read it again. Harper's story was like no other. I could not image what she went through as a child. No words. I would cry!

Michaela and Xandru, what can I say. Luck is never on their side. There was so much in this. Let's start with the obvious family feud, we learned about the Roca and Petrin's feud in Forget You Not and it continued here. Then add in the stress of renovations, teen and preteen siblings, lack of communication, artifacts, curses, aaaaahhhhh. Loved every minute of this journey!

This is a new to me author but holy goodness! The feels in here. This was a quick read, I could NOT put it down. We learned a little about Emeline in Inamorata, so I was really excited to learn what REALLY happened. I was kind of expecting it to be a Legends novella but I was blown away how the author tied it into current day. Amazing job!

I absolutely loved Jetta! We met her in her niece Zoey's story (Somewhere Within), but got to really know her in this one. Not to mention touching base with Zoey again!
