These claims ... are all painted in bloody truth.
Now, while the world watches in fear, a war is brewing. Humans are targeting vampires in merciless attacks to force us back into the shadows.
They woke me to be their weapon.
They know not my loathing for my own kind.
Even I cannot say for certain whose side I’m on.
I have bowed before the alter of darkness rooted in the Nosferatu bloodline. Been forced to drink of its bitter sacrament. They refer to me as The Son of The Dragon, and I laugh. For I, alone, know that malevolent essence is one no man could ever tame.
Catch up now on Book 1 ~ Unveiled

They claim vamps don't kill.
They preach we are safe.
They ... are dead wrong.
One year ago a hive slaughtered my family and left me for dead. Found by a team of scientists with their own agenda, I was forged into an unstoppable weapon.
I possess their strength, with none of their weaknesses.
I can move among them free from their crippling hunger.
I am their greatest threat.
Armed with this arsenal, vengeance will feed my desire to penetrate the seedy underbelly of their fetishized lifestyle and expose them for the monsters they truly are.
My Review of Veiled
In true Rourke fashion, Stacey has wowed fans yet again with her amazing writing. I LOVE that no matter what genre she is writing her signature style is always present. Her bad ass heroines are inspiring whether they are battling gnomes, facing the demon within, trying to make it down the isle, or infiltrating a vampire organization.
Quoted as saying she would never write a vampire novel, Rourke has down just that. But unlike sparkly vamps, or blood thirsty hot bar owning vamps, Rourke has brought story to this century and made a bold political statement. I love how she takes the classic vampire and makes him her own. This is no Bram Stoker retelling. Rourke left me with a ending that had my jaw on the floor and anxiously awaiting more.
