Once Upon a Book Author Signing & Fairy Tale Ball has come to an end. What can I say to sum up this experience? OMG IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME. Hands down this was the BEST event I have ever attended. Stacey Rourke is a freaking rock star! I met so many amazing people at the event. I don't even know where to start.
First, I think I met by biggest fan. This chick made my trip for me. She was over the moon excited to meet me. Me. Lil ol me. She actually said I was like famous! Famous? Not me. I am such a behind the scenes kinda gal. She was so kind and such a wonderful ego boost. Author Tracy Millovich, YOU ROCK. Thank you for all the support and kind words. Good luck with your new book.

One of the highlights of the trip was spending time with the Bestie, Kristin Clark. We may not see each other often but when we do it's like no time has passed at all. Love this Chick!
While it was not preplanned, my costume totally went along with the theme and was the perfect counter to Stacey Rourke's Evil Queen.
Once Upon A Book brought together a diverse group of authors that help support and make this event the place to be for years to come. The host, Stacey Rourke, will have a wait list for days for next year's event. We blew up Facebook. For three days my notifications were filled with photos, tags and mentions of the amazing event. I cannot wait to see this event next year and take in how much it has grown. Rourke nailed it!
The biggest moment of the night for me was receiving a shout out from author Alicia Michaels during her acceptance speech. Alicia won for Best Cliffhanger! I was not excepting to be included when she was thanked some key peeps who have supported her book. I am humbled and honored to be included with the likes of Stacey Rourke/Anchor Group Publishing and Melissa Ringsted/There For You Editing Services.
The Bavarian Lodge
The locale for the event looked it a town straight out of a old fairy tale. The Lodge where we stayed encompassed a mini water park, putt putt golf, and arcade for the kids. There was dining and bars too. Definitely something for everyone.
The Fairy Tale Ball
The fairy tale ball was amazing! Everyone was dressed beautifully. The Evil Queen made a grand entrance that was freaking awesome!!!!
