What a finish! Slumber is going out with a bang! Rory is making up for lost time, and she is raging mad for what Raven has done, all she can focus on is waking her beloved Sawyer and getting her revenge! But now she is about to be crowned queen and has a kingdom to run and people to unite, when all she wants to do is sit by Sawyer’s side. We get to meet new fun and wonderful characters in this awesome finale, some you love and some you love to hate! There are so many elements and things happening, you will be at the edge of your seat the entire time, hoping for what you wish to happen and praying that what you think is gonna happen, doesn’t happen. I cried!! Man I cried! Some happy tears, and some heart wrenching sobs! I don’t want to give one single thing away in my review, but this book is a must read filled with love, heartache, fighting, funny, sadness, and perfection. The things that Rory has had to deal with in her short 18 years is not fair, will she be able to win her battles and come out on top with her happily ever after?

Interview with Christy Sloat
1. What inspired you to write the Slumber Duology?
I've always loved the story of Aurora. The Disney movie is one of my very favorites, but I hated how poor Aurora has like five minutes in the movie. Her story was never really told. So I thought up my side of the fairytale and really twisted it. I also wanted to write why Maleficent or Millie in my story, is so evil.
2. Will there be more stories like this?
I'm planning a spin-off called Royal set to come out next year. It's loosely based on Snow White, another favorite. In this spin-off there are two parallel words, the Human Realm and the Realm of Ancora. And in those two realms two beings so very much alike exist living their lives so similarly. They both have mothers who do not care for them and are always jealous of them. They're fair and beautiful but one thing that is different is that they are not of the same sex. One is male and one is female. And one day their worlds will unite and they will meet.
3. Which of your books or characters is your favorite and why?
Right now I have to say Rory. She has grown into this strong and bold woman and I have to commend that .
Christy Sloat is a SoCal born girl who resides in New Jersey currently with her husband, two daughters and Sophie her Chihuahua. Christy has embraced the love of reading and writing since her youth and was inspired by her grandmother's loving support. Christy passes that love of reading, writing, and creativity to her daughters, family, and friends. When you do not find Christy within the pages of a book you can find her being mommy, wife, crafter, and dear friend. She loves adventurous journeys with her friends and can be known to get lost inside a bookstore.
