4/5 Chocolate with a Side of Murder: Daley Buzz Cozy Mystery, Book 1, is my introduction to author Meredith Potts. I found the plot intriguing and the story moved along at a steady pace. The characters were well defined and each brought something unique to the storyline.
I loved Sabrina's dog, a corgi. He definitely lightened up the mood.
I did find it a bit odd that people just opened and spilled about the murder investigation to Sabrina. I guess being in a small town everyone knows everyone and all their business so maybe it wasn't out of the ordinary but I still found it odd. My only flow with the story.
Laine Potts as the narrator did a great job with the female voices but she kinda fell flat on male voices. There is room for improvement there. Overall, I was pleased with her performance and will definitely check out other audio books by her.
