I discovered author Ali Winters and her amazing book, The Reapers, through posts from UTOPYA this year. Everyone was buying this book so naturally I had to check it out. I am very pleased to report that is did not disappoint.

Action packed with an underlying love story, The Reapers is a fast paced, fantastic read. You cannot trust anyone or take them at face value. Everyone has a their own agenda. The fine line between the good and bad is very much gray and muddled.

I cannot wait to see where this series go and if a certain reaper finds love.

This was a good book :) It was a little hard to get into at the beginning but well worth reading! Can't wait to read the next one in the Legends Saga.

I will start out by admitting I somehow missed that this was a real series, as in Ireland, Noah and Rip being in this book also. I thought this series was 3 separate story lines based on the legends (Ichabod Crane for the first one, and Edgar Allen Poe for this one). That being said, it took me a bit to start this one after reading the last. I can never stop mid series knowingly. The excitement I felt when I finally started this one was crazy! I would recommend this book to well just about anyone! :-D Ireland is still my favorite charter, the struggles she has with her inner demon. This series keeps getting better!

I don't even know where to start. This story was great. It tied all 3 books together and finally showed you the end game. I don't want to give anything away, it's a must read! Preen, there is so much I could say about her, but again I am not going to spoil it. The emotions in this book were endless. Book hangover for sure!

â€œMay I?â€ Cade tilted his head toward his fingers that firmly gripped the hem of my tank top, waiting for my consent.

I couldnâ€™t manage a single word, just nodded, my tongue nearly hanging out of my mouth.

I squeaked out a yes, and Cade promptly tiptoed his fingertips up to my waist, letting them drag slowly, torturously against my skin while he peeled my shirt up and off my grimy body.

Iâ€™d waited for this night for months. Years, even.

Two days ago, however, I wasnâ€™t sure this moment was ever going to happen, and yet here we were. Twin Souls preparing to Converge.

Even the sound of the words spinning inside my brain set butterflies fluttering in my belly. I wasnâ€™t quite sure what converging souls meant, but at that moment, as Cade undressed me with his eyes, I couldnâ€™t wait to find out.

Cade gazed hungrily, never wavering focus as he tossed my nasty shirt in the trash. He set my hands on his bare waist, no doubt, inspiring them to explore.

Cade was sweaty and definitely needed a bath.

Didnâ€™t matter, though. No amount of grime could keep my hands steady. It had been a rare occasion Iâ€™d seen my Gemini bare-chested, and with unlimited access now, I wasnâ€™t about to waste the opportunity.

I chewed on my bottom lip, my gaze wandering down his broad chest to his abs. Despite the fact heâ€™d been captive in a rotting cell for the past two months, his body told a different story. Firm, traceable lines made my fingertips greedy, inspiring them to follow the unexplored path across his tan stomach.

I hummed beneath my breath, and Cade let out a quiet laugh, lifting my chin to regain my attention.

He hovered over me at six-foot five, give or take an inch. I held my own, a dash shy of six feet now, but I liked being smaller than him. It was comforting when he held me.

I was protected. Safe.

Loved.

â€œSit.â€ He gestured to the ledge of the tub, and I sat on the edge.

Cade kneeled in front of me, picking up each foot, one at a time, unlacing each boot and tossing it aside.

Butterflies swarmed. Knots tightened. Sweat pooled on my forehead, nervous energy building inside me.

Cade rose to his feet, a naughty crooked smile splashed across his face. He unbuttoned his jeans, pushing them down and kicking them off slowly, never taking his gaze from mine.

Iridescent wisps swirled in his eyes while he stood before me, absolutely bare.

And so. Freaking. Beautiful.

My breath caught. Gazing over his perfect body, I bit my bottom lip.

Couldnâ€™t help it.

Iâ€™d never seen a man naked before.

Alison Brodie is a Scot, with French Huguenot ancestors on her mother’s side of the family. Alison was a photographic model, modelling for a wide range of products, including Ducatti motorbikes and 7Up. She was also the vampire in the Schweppes commercial.

A disastrous modelling assignment in the Scottish Highlands gave Alison an idea for a story, which was to become Face to Face. She wrote Face to Face as a hobby and then decided to send it off to see what would happen. It was snapped up by Dinah Wiener, the first agent Alison sent it to. Three weeks later, Alison signed a two-book deal with Hodder & Stoughton. Subsequently, Face to Face was published in Germany and Holland. It was widely reviewed, ie: “Vain, but wildly funny leading lady.” -Scottish Daily Mail. It was also chosen as Good Housekeeping’s “Pick of the Paperbacks.”

Unfortunately, Alison then suffered from Second-Book Syndrome. The publisher’s deadline loomed and she was terrified because she didn’t have an idea for a story! She found the whole experience a nightmare; and this is why she cautions first-time authors to write more than one book before approaching an agent. She managed to finish the book – Sweet Talk – but it bombed.

While writing Sweet Talk, she moved to Kansas and lived there for two years. She loved the people, their friendliness, their free-and-easy way of life, the history and the BBQs! Sadly, her visa ran out and she had to come back to the UK – although her dream is to one day live permanently in America. Now, Alison lives in Biarritz, France.

I really liked this modern day sexy Cinderella story! Jennifer Miller was a new to me Author. I will for sure be reading more! It was pretty steamy in spots, but it wasn't too much like some books are. This had a good story line. Cinderella with a twist! I laughed and teared up a bit in places. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of steam in their romances, and of course to anyone who likes a good Cinderella story!

Diesel slowly stood. â€œI have been thinking a lot lately. About how delicate this situation is. I have had many experiences in hostage situations. But you are different. Difficult.â€ He stepped around the table. I shuffled back. His voice dropped and curled with a gentle accent that didnâ€™t suit his pitch. A Russian accent, spoken through an English voice. Krane. He jabbed at his own temple with the gun. â€œYouâ€™ve done something to me, youâ€™ve planted this desire into my head.
